As part of their final project for the year, these students will be putting on a live event before the end of May - an opportunity to showcase their original music and celebrate the energy of local talent. True to its commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists, The Cellar Bar is thrilled to support this endeavour. And the best part? Entry is free!!

Meet the Bands

The Deities - A fresh, Bedford-based band offering original rock sounds with ethereal vocals. Made up of Keira Smalley, Jackson McDonald, George Hayhurst, and Herbie Beavis, these passionate musicians are recording their debut EP while gearing up for more gigs. Their mission is clear: to make an impact with their music and inspire future generations of music lovers.

Jimmy Judge and The Switch will also take the stage, bringing their unique flavours to the night. Jimmy Judge - An alternative singer-songwriter with roots in Bedford, blending original work with nostalgic '90s bangers. He also fronts The Greensand’s, another beloved local band.

The Switch - A dynamic three-piece band of multi-instrumentalists crafting memorable indie rock originals, cementing their status as a band to watch.
