ABOUT THE AWARDS

Red Carpet Entrance

The YouthTV Aspire Awards celebrate the achievements, creativity, leadership, and positive impact of young people up to the age of 25, as well as the groups, organisations, and services that support them.

 

Created by YouthTV Group CIC, the Awards highlight real stories of resilience, innovation, community action, and youth empowerment, recognising both individual accomplishments and the vital work of youth-focused teams and professionals.


Our mission is to shine a light on young people who inspire change and the organisations that help make their journeys possible.

AWARD ELIGBILITY CRITERIA

WHO CAN BE NOMINATED?

Eligible nominations include:

  • Young people aged up to 25 (you may be 25 at the point of nomination)

  • Groups of young people working on a project, initiative, or activity

  • Youth organisations, charities, CICs, community groups, and services that support or empower young people

  • Schools, colleges, youth clubs, mentoring programmes, and support services

WHO CAN SUBMIT A NOMINATION?

Nominations may be submitted by:

  • Young people (self‑nominations welcome)

  • Parents, carers, youth workers, teachers, mentors

  • Organisations or community projects

  • Peers or team members​

 

ACTIVITY TIMELINE...

Any achievements, work, projects, or supporting evidence submitted must have taken place after 1st January 2024.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS...

Non‑English content (videos, written statements, project materials, etc.) is welcomed.
Where relevant, please include:

  • An English transcript or summary

  • Timecodes (where possible/applicable)

  • A Word or PDF document upload​

AI USE...

AI-generated wording is allowed, but all achievements must be authentic, truthful, and based on real experiences. Submissions found to contain fabricated or misleading information may be reviewed or disqualified.

NOMINATION PROCESS

To nominate an individual, team, or organisation for the YouthTV Aspire Awards 2026, follow these steps:

​

  1.  Complete the Nomination Form

    • Provide details about the nominee’s achievements, impact, and any additional information (if applicable).​

  2. Submit Supporting Evidence (Optional)

    • You may upload up to three pieces of supporting evidence (e.g., portfolios, videos, testimonials).​

    • Evidence is optional but highly recommended to strengthen your nomination.

  3. Review & Submit

    • Carefully review all information provided, as nominations cannot be edited after submission.

    • Once ready, submit the form.

Important Notes

  • The deadline for submissions is Sunday 10 May 2026 at 23:59. Late entries will not be considered.

  • If you need to withdraw a nomination, please email aspire2026@youthtv.co.uk.
