About the Awards

The YouthTV Aspire Awards 2025 are dedicated to recognising and celebrating the exceptional achievements of young leaders, innovators, and organisations. These awards shine a spotlight on individuals and groups making a positive impact in their communities, industries, and beyond. Whether through creativity, leadership, volunteerism, or advocacy, the awards honour the incredible contributions of young people and their inspiring stories.

 Award Eligibility Criteria

Nominations are open to individuals, teams, and organisations who demonstrate excellence in their respective category and positive contributions to their field or community.


Age Requirement:

Nominees for all categories must be aged 25 or under at the time of nomination, except for the following group or organisation awards:

  • Aspiring School 

  • Aspiring Teacher

  • Youth Charity

  • Youth Advocate

  • SEN Education Award

For nominees under the age of 16, parental or guardian consent is required.

Nomination Process

To nominate an individual, team, or organisation for the YouthTV Aspire Awards 2025, follow these steps:

  1.  Complete the Nomination Form

    • Provide details about the nominee’s achievements, impact, and any additional information (if applicable).​

  2. Submit Supporting Evidence (Optional)

    • You may upload up to three pieces of supporting evidence (e.g., portfolios, videos, testimonials).​

    • Evidence is optional but highly recommended to strengthen your nomination.

  3. Review & Submit

    • Carefully review all information provided, as nominations cannot be edited after submission.

    • Once ready, submit the form.

Important Notes

  • The deadline for submissions is Sunday, 15 June 2025 at 23:59. Late entries will not be considered.

  • If you need to withdraw a nomination, please email aspireawards2025@youthtv.co.uk.

Young Leader: Recognises an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and inspired positive change in their community or field of interest.


Creative Innovator: Celebrates outstanding creativity in the arts, media, or technology, showcasing innovation and originality.


Community Impact Award: Highlights youth-led projects or initiatives that have made a significant and measurable difference in their communities.


Entrepreneurship Excellence: Awards a young entrepreneur who has exhibited remarkable business acumen, innovation, and perseverance in their venture.


Youth Sports Achievement: Commends a young athlete or sports team that has showcased extraordinary dedication, skill, and achievement in their chosen sport.


Environmental Champion: Recognises a young individual or group committed to advancing environmental sustainability and advocating for eco-friendly practices.


STEM Excellence Award: Celebrates outstanding achievements in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, demonstrating innovation and curiosity.


Young Volunteer: Acknowledges a young person who has generously given their time and effort to improve the lives of others in their community.


Cultural Ambassador Award: Honours individuals or groups promoting cultural awareness, diversity, and inclusion through impactful actions or initiatives.


Special Educational Needs (SEN) Education Award: Celebrates individuals, teachers, or organisations making a significant contribution to the education of children with special educational needs.


Young Artist: Commends exceptional talent and creativity in the visual arts, from painting to sculpture, photography, and more.


Young Band: Awards youth music groups that display remarkable skill, creativity, and potential in the music industry.


Young Musician: Highlights an individual musician demonstrating extraordinary talent, dedication, and achievement in their craft.


Young Performer: Recognises excellence in the performing arts, including dance, acting, theatre, and other live performances.


Youth Charity: Honours youth-led charities or organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the community, providing support or services to young people in need.


Aspiring Teacher: Acknowledges an outstanding teacher who has fostered growth, learning, and inspiration among their students.


Aspiring School: Recognises schools that excel in promoting academic, emotional, and social development while encouraging success for all their students.


Youth Advocate: Recognises an individual who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and effort in supporting young people, whether through mentorship, advocacy, or creating opportunities for youth to thrive.

Do you consent to the nominee’s name, achievements, and relevant details being shared in event-related media and promotional content (e.g., social media, press releases, or during the awards ceremony)?


If the nominee is under 16 years of age, you must confirm that you have obtained permission from their parent or guardian before providing consent.

SECTION 8 - Submission Guidelines

  • Ensure all required sections of the form are completed, including the nominee’s achievements, impact, and any additional information (if provided).

  • You may submit up to three pieces of supporting evidence using the file upload fields or link fields. Supporting evidence is optional but highly recommended to strengthen your nomination.


Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by Sunday 15 June 2025 at 23:59. Late submissions will not be considered.
