AUTUMN IS HERE! What’s new to watch?
Autumn is here, and reality TV is ready to take over our screens. Some familiar favourites are returning, while a few brand-new formats are bringing something completely different to the mix.
> Earle Meets World
When: All eight episodes out now
Where: Netflix
You may have come across Alix Earle on your For You page, whether that’s through one of her famous ‘Get Ready With Me’ videos or her life as one of Gen Z’s biggest creators.
Now, Earle Meets World gives viewers a look at what life is like when the camera keeps rolling beyond social media.
The series follows Alix and her blended family, bringing viewers into her home life while she navigates relationships, friendships, and her growing business. It also touches on her public feud with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, giving viewers a closer look at what went down behind the scenes.
Her sister and fellow creator Ashtin features heavily, while Alix’s dad TJ takes on the role of ‘Dadager’.
It’s an unfiltered look at a side of her life that doesn't always make it onto TikTok, and with all eight episodes already streaming, it is perfect for a weekend binge.
> Big Brother 2026
When: Sundays to Thursdays, 9 pm
Where: ITV2 and ITVX
Big Brother is back, and this year the iconic house has been transformed into a ‘house of surprises’.
The latest group of strangers have now entered the house, kicking off an extended eight-week series filled with challenges, nominations, twists and live evictions as they compete for the £100,000 cash prize.
AJ Odudu and Will Best are back to host, while the familiar Late & Live has been replaced by a brand-new companion show, Big Brother: The Group Chat. Hosted by Big Brother legend Kate Lawler and podcast star GK Barry, the show follows the main programme with reactions, discussions and guests.
With the house promising surprises and game-changing twists throughout the series, even the housemates don’t quite know what is waiting for them around the corner. If you’re after your next reality TV obsession, this one is already underway.
> Wonka’s The Golden Ticket
When: Wednesday 23 September (Finale on 30 September)
Where: Netflix
Imagine walking through the gates of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory and actually stepping inside the world we grew up watching on screen.
Twelve Golden Ticket winners, each joined by a partner, enter an enormous recreation of the factory to tackle high-stakes games and protect their shot at the ultimate prize.
Think game show meets a fully immersive Willy Wonka experience, complete with Oompa Loompas and familiar lore.
The series even features an AI-recreated version of Gene Wilder’s iconic Wonka voice, alongside an appearance from original 1971 film Oompa Loompa Rusty Goffe.
The first seven episodes land on 23 September, followed by a two-part finale on 30 September.
> Outside
When: Monday 28 September
Where: Netflix
The Sidemen are taking Inside… well, outside. The new Netflix reality competition drops 12 influencers and creators into the middle of a forest to battle for a prize pot of up to £1 million.
The catch? Everything costs money. Want a proper bed or hot food? It comes directly out of the final prize fund. Every luxury drains the cash, forcing contestants to choose between basic comforts and a bigger payout.
With Too Hot To Handle stars Chloe Veitch and Louis Russell, Gladiators standout Matt Morsia, rapper Paigey Cakey, and creators like Kaci Jay and TheBurntChip in the mix, expect immediate chaos and terrible financial decisions.
It’s essentially Inside meets I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, backed by a seven-figure incentive.
> The Celebrity Traitors Season 2
When: Autumn 2026, exact date TBC
Where: BBC One and BBC iPlayer
The Celebrity Traitors is returning for a second series, bringing another group of famous faces to Ardross Castle. Claudia Winkleman returns to oversee 21 celebrities as they tackle the ultimate psychological game of trust, deceit, and cloak-and-dagger strategy.
Maya Jama, Bella Ramsey, King Kenny, James Acaster, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Joe Lycett, and Michael Sheen are among those trying to figure out who is secretly working against them.
The Traitors will still be ‘murdering’ their fellow players under cover of darkness, with up to £100,000 on the line for charity.
The BBC dropped the first trailer on 27 August, though an official premiere date has not yet been confirmed.
