On Tuesday 18 July 2023, YouthTV were invited to the Kimberley Sixth Form College Media Awards and were treated to the premiere of the Switched short film which was produced and directed by the students at the sixth form college. We interviewed the cast to find out what they had gained from the experience of creating, directing and producing a short film from scratch.
Lawrence Kirkwood, who is the Head of Media at Wootton Academy Trust, spoke to us about how he found the process and what he thinks the film crew, at the sixth form college, should do next year for their short film.
