Jaezon Franklin is an enthusiastic journalist with a keen interest in sports, particularly football and darts. Jaezon appears weekly as a radio presenter on Youths Choice, a radio station ran by students of Global Academy.

Jaezon is also one of the core presenters on The Bootroom Podcast, a football podcast that started in December 2024.

On The Bootroom, whilst speaking in detail about the latest football news, Jaezon has also gained experience in interviewing people with many guests appearing on. Football has always been a passion for Jaezon having been to his first football match in 2014 whilst being a season ticket holder at his beloved Fulham since the 2014/15 season.

He also is able to provide a unique insight into football as he is a referee having taken up the whistle since January 2023. Jaezon aims to take refereeing as far as he can, being on for promotion to level 6 in the 24/25 season. Whilst not being a great dart player himself, Jaezon has held an interest in darts since the 2023 World Championship and has an eager eye on all of the major tournaments.
